Why women's ministries are choosing this

A small group women, meeting weekly. The simplest way to deepen faith, build friendships, and care for the body — together.

  • Faith first, fitness second. Caring for our bodies isn't vanity — it's stewardship. Every workout is built around Scripture, every coaching lesson is rooted in biblical wisdom. Women aren't choosing between their faith and their health; they're growing both at once.
  • Built for real life, not gym life. Most groups gather once a week in a living room or church room for discussion, prayer, and connection. Women complete workouts and devotionals at home during the week. Some groups stream a workout together once or twice a week — bring a mat and dumbbells, finish the rest at home. Flexible enough to fit your women's actual schedules.
  • Designed to build the things women say they want. When women finish the program, the words they use most are consistency, accountability, friendships, and healthier habits. Those aren't promises we make. Those are things participants tell us afterward.
  • No fitness or theology background required. The leader guide gives you everything you need — Scripture, discussion questions, prayer prompts, accountability check-ins. You're not teaching the workouts. You're not teaching the Bible. You're guiding meaningful conversation between women who are already learning together.
  • For women at every stage. Workouts come in two levels — Foundations (for beginners or those returning to exercise) and Regular. Same Scripture, same teaching, same heart — just meeting each woman where she is physically.

It’s so much more motivating when you’re not doing it alone.

Having the small group to talk through the program with made all the difference. The discussions deepened my understanding of the material and brought a level of accountability that kept me on track. It’s so much more motivating when you’re not doing it alone.

I don’t think I could have stuck to my health goals without that weekly connection

The content from the program was incredibly impactful, but being able to discuss it and reflect on it with a small group took it to another level. We encouraged each other, held each other accountable, and really bonded. I don’t think I could have stuck to my health goals without that weekly connection.

Starting a group is simple

 01. Gather your women. Around six women is the sweet spot — friends, women from your church, anyone wanting to grow in faith and care for their bodies together.

02. Pick your start date. The program works any time of year. Most groups launch in fall, January, or after Easter — whenever fits your ministry's rhythm.

03. Women complete the daily content at home. Devotionals, workouts, and coaching lessons stream through the SoulStrength Fit app on each woman's own schedule.

04. Meet weekly for discussion. Use the Leader Guide to walk through Scripture, prayer, and accountability — about 60 minutes a week. Some groups also stream a workout together once or twice a week.

05. Keep going after the 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks, your group's 6-month license unlocks ongoing devotionals, programs, and Bible studies — enough to keep your women growing together for a full year without starting from scratch.

  • Devotionals on living as a sacrifice, forgiveness, and rooting yourself in Christ
  • Three Scripture-integrated strength workouts
  • Coaching on the most common health & fitness roadblocks

Week 2 — Renewing Your Mind

This week shifts inward — to the thoughts, beliefs, and inner narratives that quietly shape every habit. Renewing the mind is where lasting change begins.

This week:

  • Devotionals on God using us in our weakness, gratitude, and trusting His timing
  • Three "Use Me in My Weakness" Scripture-integrated strength workouts
  • Coaching on mindset, having the mind of Christ, and experiencing a soul at rest

Week 3 — Setting Yourself Up for Success

Women design an environment that supports their goals — removing what holds them back and building cues that make healthy choices easier.

  • Devotionals on envy, inviting God to search our hearts, and doing all things for His glory
  • Three Scripture-integrated workouts including "Comparison & Envy" and "Forgiveness & Mercy"
  • Coaching on designing your surroundings for success and foods to eat & avoid

Week 4 — Building Strong Habits

This week is where the daily rhythms take root — through hydration, mindful eating, prayer, and the small habits that hold a faithful life together.

This week:

  • Devotionals on the Lord's Prayer, daily bread, and stopping our worry and our hurry
  • Three workouts including the Lord's Prayer series and Hurried Life
  • Coaching on the 21-Day Veggie Challenge, hydration, and mindful eating

Week 5 — Fueling Your Body with Purpose

Women become intentional about what fuels them — calories, protein, supplements, and the discipline of stewarding the body God gave them.

This week:

  • Devotionals on sitting before Jesus, faith in action, and what's competing with Him in our lives
  • Three workouts including the Fruit of the Spirit series
  • Coaching on calorie awareness, losing fat (not muscle), and supplements that support your goals

Week 6 — Making Healthy Living Simple

Simplicity creates consistency. Women identify their go-to meals and build a sustainable rhythm they can actually keep.

This week:

  • Devotionals on joy, peace, patience, and letting Jesus be seen in us
  • Three workouts continuing the Fruit of the Spirit series
  • Coaching on practical breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal plans

  • Three "Anxious No More" Scripture-integrated workouts
  • Coaching on weight loss strategies, learning to hunger for God, and the benefits of fasting

Week 8 — Moving Forward with Strength & Purpose

Women look back at how far they've come, celebrate the habits they've built, and step into the next chapter with intention.

This week:

  • Devotionals on running the race, putting on the armor of God, and putting Christ above all else
  • Three workouts ending with "Be Strong in the Lord"
  • Coaching on intermittent fasting, avoiding plateaus, and continuing the journey

This program provided the structure and accountability I needed

The small group discussions each week helped me dive deeper into my Bible study and led to really meaningful conversations. I’ve always struggled to stay consistent with daily time in the Word, but this program provided the structure and accountability I needed to finally make Bible study and regular exercise a daily habit.

~Jessica M

It’s the first time I’ve been able to stay consistent

I’ve tried so many times to build healthy habits, but I would always fall off track. This program, with its combination of Bible study, exercise, and small group accountability, was exactly what I needed. It’s the first time I’ve been able to stay consistent in both my Bible study and health habits, and I’m seeing the results in every area of my life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question we didn't cover?

Reach out at kelly@soulstrengthfit.com — I'd love to hear from you.

Hey, I’m Kelly

I started SoulStrength Fit because I believe women shouldn't have to choose between caring for their faith and caring for their bodies. For years I watched women in the church wrestle with that false divide — feeling guilty for working out, or guilty for skipping it, or just exhausted from trying to keep both up on their own.

So I built the kind of program I wished existed: faith and fitness woven together, designed for real women with real schedules, taught from Scripture rather than around it.

If your women's ministry is wondering whether this is right for your group, I'd love to hear from you personally. No sales pitch — just a conversation about whether SoulStrength Fit is the right fit.
